From Oak Cliff in Dallas, Texas, E-Mannie is building his name through ambition, connection, and a clear sense of purpose. He describes himself as ambitious, an idealist, and someone who hopes to inspire others. His new album, The Rise Of A King, is available now on all streaming platforms.
At the center of E-Mannie’s drive is his daughter. She is his biggest inspiration and a major reason he keeps working toward his goals. His music also reflects his determination to carry Country Rap Tunes forward, a sound he believes deserves to reach new listeners.
The release is only the beginning. E-Mannie is working on his next album and developing collaborations with artists Ricky Blaine, 88 Killa, King 02, and Third Coast Boys. He is also working with producers Legion of Doom, Browny Beats, DJ No Name, and Rulz. Shows are in the works across Texas and Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he says he has a strong connection.
Getting to this point has taken persistence, teamwork, and a willingness to learn from experience. E-Mannie credits the people around him who contribute to his work, as well as the opportunity to contribute to theirs. He says learning from past lessons, recognizing his blessings, and believing in himself and his team have helped him overcome challenges.
As a business owner, he has also had to build his skills in marketing, budgeting, and strategy. The lessons he hopes others take from his work are straightforward: stay consistent, believe in yourself, and stay focused.
E-Mannie’s influences span Texas and Southern rap. He names UGK, Paul Wall, Slim Thug, Mike Jones, and Chamillionaire among the Texas artists who shaped him, along with Master P, Curren$y, Larry June, and LE$. He is working with a videographer named Dago in the area where he spoke about the people, he is working with. He also credits his father and many of his friends as major inspirations in his life.
With The Rise Of A King available now, new collaborations underway, and performances being planned across Texas and Tulsa, E-Mannie is focused on his next chapter and keeping the Country Rap Tunes sound alive.
