Indie Fashion, a fast rising fashion and creative platform known for championing independent talent, closed out a phenomenal year with a highly anticipated event in Atlanta, Georgia. The showcase brought together fashion, culture, and community, drawing creatives and supporters from across the country. The event included attendees from Michigan, California, Florida, Texas, New York, and Arizona, underscoring Indie Fashion’s expanding national reach.
The December 13, 2025 showcase featured an exceptional roster of designers, each presenting collections that reflected originality, craftsmanship, and bold creative identity. Designers included Stacy A. Lawes, DUS Couture, Megan Marie, C Denim, Success and Leisure, Good Garments, Sonday’s Best, Red Funk, and House of Imah. Their work resonated strongly with the audience and set a high standard for independent fashion presentations.
Hosted by Jonathan Slocumb, the event maintained a high energy atmosphere throughout the night as more than 50 models took the runway. The production was further elevated by a diverse group of creatives and collaborators who helped bring the vision to life. Notable creatives and models included Kyle Philson, Kay Renae, GOICHI, KoolasBug, Alanté Vidal, Brandi, Tristian Prather, Donald Love Jr., Reign Watters, Madi Cherisse, Yvoni Martin, Nouligee, King Ron, CEO of UFO Music Group, and Black Umbrella Studio.
Founded by Daishawn Franklin, Indie Fashion has emerged as a respected name in independent fashion, creating space for designers, models, and artists to thrive outside traditional industry limitations. With executive director Dean Beanz, the brand has experienced strategic growth and increased visibility, culminating in one of its most successful events to date.
