Becoming more serious, being motivated to his work, Trill Trey is on a mission to make it to the top.
“As an artist, I’m working on perfection. I want to perfect my sound, my style, and my craft as an artist. Since a little boy I’ve been seen and been through the struggle. From sleeping on the floor, to not having nothing to eat, to not knowing if your house was gone be the next one to get robbed on the blocked. Growing up I lost a lot of friends to the system and I lost a lot of friends to the streets. It hurt me, & it was hard going thru the struggle. The only thing that helped me make it thru my struggle God, me having faith, and me being prayed up. I hate my struggle but I love that I went thru it because without my struggle I wouldn’t be Trill Trey.”
Trill Trey is a well-rounded artist who refuses to give up even when things don’t go as planned. Only 18 years old, he wants to keep moving forward and use his music to do good things. His inspiration has levels, and his music has always been there as a driving force in his life.
What is inspiring you right now consistently to work on your endeavors?
I got a family to feed and friends that’s locked up and trying to come home. That’s what inspires me to do what I do. So my family can be taken care of & my friends can be home and have a 2nd chance at life. It’s deeper than fame and money to me. It’s about loyalty and respect.
As a business owner, what are some obstacles you have had to overcome to get where you are at?
To make it to the place I am now as an artist I had to go through doubting myself, people not believing in me, & finding out who around me is real and who is fake.
Who were the most influential people in your life?
When it comes to real-life the most influential person in my life is my momma, Brittany. That woman is so strong. Everybody else around was letting me crash out but she saved me. She saved me from the streets & helped me finish high school when everybody else didn’t think I was gone, changed or even finished school; but when it comes to my rap career the most influential people are “Go Yayo” and “SoFaygo”. They are both my favorite rappers. Honestly, me studying their flows and combining them together is how I got my sound as an artist.
Even though Trill Trey is devoted to perfecting the art of his music to the highest level, his hardships have made him want to do even better in his business. His projects are staying aligned with his mission in making it to the top in music. “I’m currently working on my album that is supposed to drop late 2022 with some mainstream features on it, and i’m working on my record label called ‘Trill Gang Ent’ (TGE).”
Despite issues that are faced in the industry, Trill Trey never let go of his vision. Joe Pari$ has a goal to make people want to see more of him, which he has already been proving. Putting in the hours of work, commitment, and inspiration both in front of and behind the scenes in the year 2022, he makes a difference in the music business. “Have faith in what you’re doing and go hard for what you believe in, No matter what. You always crawl before you walk and you’re going to fail before you succeed. Keep pushing until your time is coming.”
