Ra’anaa Wooden, also known as ‘RaRa’, ‘Rostah Rah’, is a musical artist who also has endeavors in so many varieties of things. An all around entrepreneur, the rapper, singer, songwriter has an effective way that her delivery comes out to her listeners. From College Park, Atlanta, Rostah Rah is on a mission to make the best art no matter what location she is in. Her goal in mind is to become more serious and dedicated to her work by consistently working. Rostah Rahis is devoted to perfecting the art of her music to the highest level, and is actively working hard on her craft.
“I’m currently working on my first official album. It is scheduled to release by June 24th. This album will be a deeper insight into my emotional and physical journey as a female rapper adapting to the expansion of my wisdom as I age and my personal life. “Rostah Rah is an accomplished mucisian and entrepreneur who refuses to give up even when things don’t go as planned. Determined, creative, loyal, compassionate, attentive, intelligent, and shy even, Rostah Rah is pretty live on stage. She wants to keep moving forward and use her music to do good things. Afterward, her goal is to make people want to see more of her, which she has done at open mic nights. By putting in the hours of work, commitment, and inspiration both in front of and behind the scenes in the year 2022, she makes a difference in the music business.
Rostah Rah, is now focused on continuing to be an inspiration so that she can build on her already strong foundation even more than it already is. With all of us in the audience, she is excited about how excited we are about what she can do for the whole community. As a result of the COVID-19 epidemic, a lot of big-crowd events, like concerts and festivals, were banned in 2021. This was because of restrictions put in place by both the city and the federal government. As a result, the number of chances for artists to show off their skills was dramatically cut down in 2021. However now in 2022, Rostah Rah is fully focused and inspired. “I make it my business to inspire myself on a daily basis. No matter what I can find that’ll help me evolve I like to open my ears up to all knowledge. I’m also very spiritual so I meditate on my goals weekly.”
How have you overcome struggles to be where you are now?
Easy. I remove all distractions from around me and I invest in myself to improve my focus.
What piece of advice do you want others to take back from the work you display?
Never be afraid to go against the grain and knowledge really is powerful.
