Jose G Laureano, also known as ‘JL Engineering’ is a Dallas based audio engineer and producer where he works hard on his craft. He was born in Miami , Florida and now resides down south in Dallas in the Lone Star State. Open minded, a listener, and dependable, he has strong goals in mind: to become more serious and dedicated to his work and being the best.
“I am creatively working on polishing sounds. Creating art with other artists and musicians to mold imagination and vision and bring them to reality.I am currently working on an album with a talented artist (close friend). It is my first official album that I mix and master, that will be released on all streaming platforms. Nobody is perfect and we are far from it, but we aim for perfection and we have put in a lot of hours into this to showcase it to the world, so we are very excited to give the people some great music & something very refreshing!”
Jose G Laureano, is an accomplished music engineeer who refuses to give up even when things don’t go as planned. He wants to keep moving forward and use his music to do good things. Afterward, his goal is to make people want to see more of him, which he has done already in the studio. By putting in the hours of work, commitment, and inspiration both in front of and behind the scenes in the year 2023, he makes a difference in the music business. Jose G Laureano says he overcame struggles by keeping the right people around him to continue to motivate and push him. Most of all, staying patient and keeping a positive mindset has helped him. “I always tell myself ‘Trust Your Struggles because everything happens for a reason!’”.
What is inspiring you right now consistently to work on your endeavors?
The trust other artist have towards me with their art. Seeing them light up and glow when I am given the opportunity to help bring out the best of them.
As a business owner, what are some obstacles have you had to overcome to get where you are at?
People will overlook you and most of time, look down on you. Building a solid team to back you and believe in what you are building can be difficult. Stick with the people that believe in your vision and that have a similar goals as well.
Who were the most influential people in your life?
My mother and my brother. Seeing them struggle through life and run into major obstacles as a youth to seeing them live life with complete happiness and great health. It shows me that anything is possible as long as you keep faith and believe in yourself. Staying strong minded is a key to getting far in this world and I’ve learned that from them.
If they can get through the storm they were in then anything is possible!
Even though Jose G Laureano, is devoted to perfecting the art of his music to the highest level, his hardships have made him want to do even better in his business as well. “Keep believing in your art and continue learning. Work on your craft and polish it. You never know whos out there and you’ll never know who you’ll run into. Everyday is a fresh start..”
As a result of the COVID-19 epidemic, a lot of big-crowd events, like concerts and festivals, were banned in 2021 and some of 2022. This was because of restrictions put in place by both the city and the federal government. As a result, the number of chances for artists to show off their skills has been dramatically cut down. And Jose G Laureano remained steadfast.
