Johannesburg, South Africa –
While many teenagers are preparing for another school term, 16-year-old Giselle Niemand is preparing for an international journey spanning Germany, France and South Korea.
The South African singer, songwriter, actress, model and dancer will leave the country next week for Germany before heading to France for Paris Fashion Week.
Giselle has been selected to participate in the Africa In Paris showcase, which takes place from 2 to 4 October 2026. The event is presented by Africa Fashion Week in partnership with Noir Fashion Week Paris.

She will model for South African fashion house New Romantics Couture, which earned the opportunity to showcase internationally following its success at Africa Fashion Week last year.
Just one day after the Paris chapter concludes, Giselle’s schedule moves to another continent.
On 5 October, she will travel to Seoul to perform at the 2026 Itaewon World Music Spirit Festival.

Giselle was invited to the final round of the festival after organisers reviewed her performance submission during preliminary screening. She is expected to share the stage with performers from different countries.
The festival will also provide accommodation and a sightseeing programme, alongside a VIP package featuring Korean beauty and food products. Her performance is expected to be recorded for international distribution.

The trip adds to an international portfolio that already includes performances in the United States and United Arab Emirates, as well as a New York Fashion Week appearance.
At just 16, Giselle is continuing to build a career that crosses music, fashion, acting, modelling and dance.
Her next journey will see her move from Germany to the Paris runway before heading to Seoul for an international music festival.
