SANTIAGA is preparing to introduce listeners to his most personal work yet with the upcoming release of his debut mixtape, Look At Ya, a project rooted in self-reflection, perseverance, and real-life experiences.
Known to friends and supporters as “Santi,” short for Santiaga, the rising artist says the project represents much more than music. Through emotional storytelling and versatile sound, he aims to give listeners an honest look into the highs and lows that have shaped him personally and creatively.
“Music has become a way for me to express my mindset, tell my story, and connect with people who are fighting their own battles,” SANTIAGA said. “I want people to hear the growth, the pain, the lessons, and the evolution through every track.”

The artist describes himself as resilient, charismatic, and self-reflective — qualities developed through years of overcoming adversity, including homelessness, heartbreak, financial setbacks, evictions, and personal struggles with anxiety and fatigue. Rather than allowing those moments to define him, SANTIAGA says they became motivation to build a better future through creativity and discipline.
“What inspires me most right now is the grind,” he said. “There’s something powerful about building something from nothing and watching yourself grow through every setback.”
The upcoming mixtape, Look At Ya, explores themes of self-awareness, perseverance, and emotional growth while also highlighting experiences the artist continues to navigate today. SANTIAGA hopes listeners will connect with the authenticity behind the music and find encouragement through his transparency.
Beyond music, SANTIAGA has also built a platform as a motivational speaker, influencer, and model, using his growing audience to encourage consistency, discipline, and personal growth. One message he hopes supporters take from his journey is that success is possible despite hardship.
“Everybody faces setbacks and difficult seasons,” he said. “Growth comes from how you respond to those moments and how consistent you stay through them.”
Music and creativity have long been part of SANTIAGA’s life. He credits much of his inspiration to family influences, especially his aunt, known as “Yo Jonesy Jones,” who introduced him to music performance, dance, and instruments at an early age. He also says his father played a major role in shaping his confidence, style, and self-expression.
As anticipation builds for Look At Ya, SANTIAGA says this is only the beginning of a larger vision he hopes will inspire others facing struggles of their own.
