Interview with Rapper and Producer , K.Le DaVincci

Born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, K.Le DaVincci is a producer and rapper. Growing up in an area called Easthaven which is the exact borderline of both BHZ, (Black Haven Zone, politically known as Whitehaven) and East Memphis, K.Le DaVincci now makes an impact down south in Dallas, Texas. He is driven to improve his skills in the music industry every day. "I am Currently working on an Untitled remix series. I originally released 9 Albums and 28 singles during a three-month time span in 2018 that garnered the attention of Google, and solidified my distribution deal with Sugo Music Group. After releasing these projects, it gave me a better chance to test the market with particular songs, because I didn’t place any ‘financial’ backing into promotion, only word of mouth. 

However, after releasing 3 to 4 singles and 1 full project nine consecutive weeks, I gathered enough data to know how to push forward, so the remixes will be of the best songs which will be old to me, and new to a different audience.” By doing so, he keeps himself occupied in the industry. Being honest, organized and creative, has helped him succeed in his endeavors. But K.Le DaVincci, a go-getter, keeps pushing. Despite the difficulties he experiences, his ambition is to keep moving forward and to produce something significant with his music.

His objective is to keep it honest and make a name for himself with his work. “What is currently inspiring me is success. Understanding Pareto’s Principle, also known as the 80/20 Rule, teaches you 80% of the result is based on 20% effort.  So putting in the work every day to achieve what is needed for the goal to be met, will occur as long as you simply try on a consistent basis.” K.Le DaVincci mentions that his consistency and collaboration with others has helped him achieve great things. “Hard work, dedication, focus, meditation, creating good habits, and scheduling. Most importantly, creating routines that help alleviate distractions.”

In his subsequent remarks, K.Le DaVincci said that his love for business is steady and would always be a driving force in his life, and that crucial people in his life had a huge impact on his professional life. “Earl Forest Sr., my grandfather, was an American musician and a member of the Memphis-based R&B coalition called the Beale Streeters, which included Johnny Ace, Bobby Bland, Junior Parker, B.B. King, and Roscoe Gordon. Forest had a hit record in 1953 with "Whoopin' And Hollerin'' on Duke Records. He also recorded for Meteor Records and Flair Records.”

As a result of the outbreak of COVID-19, some artists had considerable difficulties in 2021; varied laws established at the local and federal levels prevented many events with large crowds, including concerts and festivals, from taking place. As a result, the number of chances for artists to demonstrate their abilities was drastically curtailed as a result of this decision. The emphasis of K.Le DaVincci’s concentration is now on continuing to pursue his art and business profession in order to build his already strong foundation even further than it is already. K.Le DaVincci has his sights set on the prize and realizes that in order to be successful, one must not only invest in oneself, but also in those who will invest in you in exchange for their efforts on his behalf. In the audience, he is motivated at the thought of making a difference not just in his endeavors, but also in the rest of the community.

Although K.Le DaVincci is totally focused on mastering the art of his job, his hardships have inspired him to strive for even greater achievement and his love for his family motivates him daily and gave him humble beginnings.
