hippie.snooks is a poetic lyricist or in other words, a Neo-Soul Hip-Hop Artist, from the Tennessee area. She was born on an army base and moved around from the time she was born, till about four years old, when she settled in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Now residing in Cartwright, Oklahoma. She is a diligent individual with extensive experience in her projects. hippie.snooks has a strong propensity for originality, and she strives to establish a recognizable presence in both online and offline endeavors. She is always extremely dedicated to her task and in terms of her own qualities, she is loyal, creative, and passionate. She has been able to maintain a level of consistency and maintain a keen focus on her goals as a result of the collaborative efforts and personal grind. hippie.snooks is well positioned for success. She describes the work she is currently engaged in.“Creatively I’m working on my brand as far as merchandise, marketing, and brand partnerships.”

How have you overcome struggles to be where you are now?
Understanding that things that are out of my control have to happen. Anything that has happened was always going to happen. I don’t have to understand exactly why but how to acknowledge what’s happening and accept it. For things that are in my control I have to be able to show myself grace and not allow myself to feel like a failure. My favorite saying is “shit happens”.
As a business owner, what are some obstacles you have had to overcome to get where you are at?
I would say mostly funding. It’s very hard to save money when you have to spend so much just to live. You definitely have to deal with a bunch of unprofessional people. Once you get used to how things operate in the business you get better at maneuvering through what is real or fake.
hippie.snooks is an experienced artist in her field and a knowledgeable leader as well within her community. She is confident that her work will help her advance in her career and make a positive difference in the world. hippie.snooks promises to learn and grow from every challenge she faces. As she wraps up the conversation, she reflects on the many people who have had an impact on her life. “The most influential people in my life have been my mother of course. (RIP) My dad and just everyone that gave me encouraging words and have been there for me through some very trying times in my life.” Because of the commitment that hippie.snooks has shown to her movement and to her loved ones, she will be able to make greater strides.
hippie.snooks will prevail because she never gives up. “Just be yourself! We are all navigating life and just trying to be happy. We only get one life so live it how you want. Spread peace, love, knowledge, and wisdom. Worry about yourself and the people who you genuinely love.”
