Johannesburg, South Africa –
South Africa’s rising teen pop star, Giselle Niemand, is turning up the volume with the release of her latest single, SMH, an energetic pop track that encourages listeners to embrace confidence, self-worth, and the courage to chase their dreams.
At just 16 years old, Giselle has already built an impressive career, performing on international stages in New York, Los Angeles, Dubai, and the United Kingdom. Her latest release, produced by Grammy-nominated producer Manny Mijares, reflects her continued growth as an artist while delivering a message that resonates with young people around the world.
“SMH is about learning to trust yourself and not allowing fear or disappointment to define your future,” says Giselle. “I hope people realise it’s okay to walk away from situations that don’t serve them and to confidently pursue the life they want.”

Following the success of her previous singles, Fake Love and Last Summer, SMH introduces a fresh, bold sound that blends catchy pop melodies with a meaningful message of resilience and personal growth.
Away from the recording studio, Giselle continues to balance her education with an expanding entertainment career. A World Champion title holder at the World Championships of Performing Arts, she has also walked the runways of New York Fashion Week and Dubai Fashion Week, further showcasing her versatility as a singer, actress, model, and dancer.

With new music, performances, and creative projects already in the works, Giselle believes SMH is only the beginning of an exciting new chapter.
“I’m incredibly grateful for everyone’s support,” she says. “This song is for anyone who has ever doubted themselves. I hope it reminds them that they’re capable of achieving amazing things.”
