Aku The Master or ‘Gator B. Pimpin’ as some would call him, is a musical artist from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia now residing in the El Paso, Texas area. His work ethic has remained persistent since he started. The diverse artist has dedication and his skills to his craft has remained consistent and unique since the beggining. Aku The Master has focused on never stopping working and always having content to strive for. He has lots of upcoming work to look out for.
“Right now I’m focusing on building my skill as an artist. I wanna drop a mixtape soon, I’ve been having people waiting on that for a while. Just wanted to gain some buzz.” With the right intentions ahead, the unique business owner is hardworking with his work, and has qualities of being focused, determined, and balanced . Aku The Master remains honest on his journey and remains heavily influenced by motivating factors. He knows where his passion starts from and speaks more on his inspirations that keep him consistent. “I don’t really rely on inspiration. I rely on consistency. Even days I don’t feel like going to the studio I go to. The only one that’s gonna make this happen is me and stalling isn’t really gonna help.” Aku The Master stays consistent and has been seen at lots of shows doing what he loves.
Where are you from?
I was Born in El Paso. Around 6 months ago my Grandparents took me to Saudi Arabia. Due to my mom getting caught up in drugs and street activities at the time.
How have you overcome struggles to be where you are now?
Taking it a day at a time not everything is in your control so just control the things that you can control such as your emotional reaction to the outcome. Friends are also a help when I need advice to vent it help realign where I’m supposed to be going.
As a business owner, what are some obstacles you have had to overcome to get where you are at?
Showing up everyday. I’m pretty sure any business owner or artist can tell you that being in this industry has a lot of ups and downs but I honestly think we like that it’s that way or we wouldn’t do it.
Who were the most influential people in your life?
My grandfather for sure and a few peers around that help me evolve into the person I am today.
Aku The Master has his sights set on the right goals and sees only growth for the upcoming future, and leaves some advice for others to take back. “You can do anything you put your mind to, in fact what your beliefs are is your reality so in some way you gotta deny your senses and believe the reality you want until it’s physical. October I plan on dropping a single a week just for the people to have something to listen to. It’s finna be lit. I’m seriously excited.”
Now, with his listeners, he is motivated by the thought of making a difference not just in this world but when he hits the stage to perform and in the studio working hard no matter where he is. His upcoming projects are only expanding. His self motivation is an inspiration for others, and he stays steadfastly on his journey.
